Adèle is a 20-year-old flautist currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music with Kevin Gowland and Jennifer Hutchinson (piccolo). In 2025, she performed across Switzerland as part of Ticino Musica, under the tutelage of Andrea Oliva, as both a soloist and chamber musician. At home in the UK, Adèle is a regular guest soloist with choirs such as the Rhos Orpheus Male Voice Choir and has appeared in recital series including the Wesley Church Concert Series, St Mary’s Church. In October 2025, she will appear as a soloist with The Hallé Orchestra.

Whilst at the RNCM, Adèle has performed as principal flautist of the Symphony Orchestra, and in various Wind and Session Orchestras. Alongside her classical training, she is an experienced multi-woodwind performer. She has played in numerous musical theatre productions including Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar, Grease, and The Sound of Music, covering the full range of flutes, saxophones, and keyboard instruments. Adèle has recorded and premiered a wide variety of new music as both a flautist and pianist.

Beyond performance, Adèle is a skilled accompanist and a developing composer. Her compositions have been featured in concerts and festivals across the UK. She has a strong interest in music psychology and is currently training with Jessie’s Fund, a charity that uses music to help children with complex needs and serious illness to communicate and express themselves.

Before studying at the Royal Northern College of Music, she studied at the Junior RNCM with Jonathan Rimmer (Flute), Shanshan Zhao (piano) and Joshua Brown (composition). During her time at JRNCM, she won various awards and prizes including the Friends of RNCM Prize and was supported by the Wolfson Scholarship and the Rose Goulding Scholarship. At festivals, she won the Toby and Leo Maskell Award (Advanced Solo), Rushworth Rose Bowl (Baroque Solo), Mary Lees Award (Unaccompanied Solo), Barlow Cup (Composition). As a keen orchestral player, she played in the Hallé Youth Orchestra touring the UK and Germany and performing side by side concerts with The Hallé Orchestra. She also held the principal flute seat in the National Youth Concert Band from 2021-2023.
